Proper Spacing Specs

When correctly measured and installed, the center of the rope between portable
stanchions should be a minimum of 24" from the floor.  If the rope is too long, or
 the stanchions are too close together the rope will be too close to the floor and
may present a tripping hazard.  If the rope is too short, or the stanchions are too
far apart, the rope will be too taught, and slight pressure on the rope will make
the posts less stable.
